Study summary: Horizons Clinical Research Center, LLC is now enrolling volunteers to participate in a clinical research trial that is further investigating the effectiveness of the study medication in treating and preventing gout. The medication in this study has already been FDA approved and in fact is the current standard of care for this condition. This is also an open label study which means that all participants will receive the study medication.
Qualified participants must: • Be between the ages of 18 and 85
• Have been diagnosed with gout
• Have had at least two gout flair ups in the past year
Participants may receive: Study-related clinic visits, lab assessments, medical exams, and study medication at no cost throughout the study, plus compensation for time and travel.
