Multicenter randomized double blind active controlled study designed to evaluate the cardiovascular safety of febuxostat compared with allopurinol in subjects with gout and significant CV. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
• If male, be 50 years of age or older,
If female, be 55 years of age or older
•
Have been diagnosed with gout
•
Have a history of major cardiovascular disease (includes stroke, blocked arteries, diabetes and heart attack)
