Clinical Trials of Texas, Inc. is conducting a research study to evaluate whether adding an investigational medication or placebo (inactive substance) to an FDA approved antidepressant will provide better relief of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) symptoms. Your particiation in this study can last up to 17 weeks and would require you to attend up to 12 clinic visits. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
Be 18 years of age or older
Be diagnosed with MDD
Be currently on a stable dose of Lexapro, Celexa, Zoloft, Prozac, or Paxil still experiencing symptoms of depression despite current treatment
Have no current or previous diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other psychotic disorder
