Study summary: A rondomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled ohase 3 study to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of stuyd medication in the treatment of patinets with Diarrhea-Predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Qualified participants must: • Be aged 18-80
• Not be planning to change his/her usual diet and lifestyle during the study
• Be willing to be compliant with study procedures and use of daily diary call
• Have no history of Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis
• Have no history of intestinal obstruction
• Have no history of major gastric, hepatic, pancreatatic, or intestinal surgery
• Have no cardiovascular event within last 6 months
Participants may receive: All study-related visits, testing, and medications provided free of charge. Reimbursement for time and travel may be provided.
