Study summary:

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational ointment which is used to treat pain from a chronic anal fissure. The trial will last 28 days and include up to 5 study visits. There is a placebo group involved with this investigation.

Qualified participants must:

• Be 18 to 75 years of age
• Have one single chronic anal fissure with anal pain for 6 weeks
• Be willing to go without the use of non-prescription and prescription medication for the treatment of anal fissure for the duration of the study

Participants will receive:

Study participants will be compensated up to $350.00 for their time and travel upon the completion of this study.
