Study summary:

Participation in the study lasts between 17 and 27 weeks and requires 12 visits to the clinic. This study is placebo controlled. You will not be allowed to stay on current medications that you may take to treat the symptoms of fibrolmyalgia while you are active in the study. Participants who complete this study may be eligible to participate in a longer study that will allow you to continue to receive treatment with the study drug.

Qualified participants must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have overall body aches and pains for at least 3 months
• Meet the diagnosis of fibromyalgia which will be determined by a physical exam at no cost
• Be able to complete questionnaires and other study procedures

Participants will receive:

All study medication and evaluations will be provided to you at no cost. Compensation is provided for travel.
