Study summary:

This is an insomnia trial with a new medication. Patients will call in to a computer system each morning to register how they slept the night before. The study lasts 12 weeks, double-blind, and placebo controlled.

Qualified participants must:

• Patients must fall asleep within 20 minutes, but then have trouble STAYING asleep during the night
• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Not be taking any medication for insomnia that they cannot stop
• Not be taking medication for psychiatric problems
• Be in good physical health

Participants will receive:

$40 a visit
