Study summary:

Are you interested in losing weight? Health Trends Research is conducting a 1 year investigational combination drug research that may help overweight, diabetic people lose weight! If you are overweight, between the ages of 18 and 70, with type II diabetes, you may be eligible to participate.

Qualified participants must:

• Be a type II diabetic
• Be in overall good health
• Be obese
• Be 18 to 70 years of age
• Be available for study related visits for one year

Participants will receive:

Medical evaluations, laboratory evaluations, electrocardiograms, nutritional and lifestyle, counseling, and investigational study medication
