Study summary:

A research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the study medication vs. placebo when added to a statin in slowing the progression of atherosclerosis (“hardening of the arteries”)

Qualified participants must:

• Be at least 45 years of age
• Have dyslipidemia (high cholesterol)

Participants will receive:

All study-related care and study medication at no cost to enrolled patients. Compensation for time and travel expenses is also available.
