Study summary:

A research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an inhaled investigational medication vs. an inhaled medication already on the market and vs. inhaled placebo (a medically inactive substance) in subjects with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

Qualified participants must:

• Be 40 – 75 years old
• Have COPD
• Have a current or past history of cigarette smoking

Participants will receive:

All study-related care and study medication at no cost to enrolled subjects. Compensation for time and travel expenses is also available.
