Study summary:

If you are at least 18 years of age and have been experiencing chronic low back pain for the past 3 months or longer, you may qualify to take part in a study of an investigational drug. The primary purpose of this research study is to assess the effectiveness of an investigational drug compared with another pain medication in providing relief of chronic low back pain.

Qualified participants must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have chronic back pain that has lasted for at least 3 months
• Require regular use of pain medication at least 4 days per week for low back pain

Participants will receive:

Study related procedures at no cost to you, and compensation for time and travel.
