Study summary:

This study is a 24-week study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a new antidiabetic medication compared to Pioglitazone in subjects with Type 2 Diabetes.

Qualified participants must:

• Have type 2 diabetes for at least 6 months
• Be between 30 and 75 years of age
• Be taking a sulfonylurea (ie: glyburide, glipizide)

Participants will receive:

Study compensation for time and travel, study medication, EKGs, lab tests, and physicals all at no cost to you.
