Study summary:

Medex Healthcare Research is conducting a clinical research study for DPN, painful diabetic neuropathy. Diabetic nerve damage frequently causes a severe burning pain. The pain is often accompanied by disagreeable sensations, such as prickling, tingling, burning or aching. These sensations are referred to as diabetic neuropathy. The study is testing the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for the treatment of painful diabetic neuropathy.

Qualified participants must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have Type I or Type II diabetes
• Have been in pain for more than 6 months

Participants will receive:

Study medication and study-related care are provided at not cost. Compensation for time and travel may be available to those that qualify.
