Study summary:

Looking at the effectiveness of an FDA approved medication for treating IBS. It is currently approved to treat Travelers Diarrhea. This study will last for 3 1/2 months and consist of up to 8 visits.

Qualified participants must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have diarrhea predominant IBS

Participants will receive:

Study related health care, a colonoscopy if not done in the last 3 years, and up to $600 to cover travel expenses.
