Study summary:

This is a ten week trial comparing the benefit of different medications for insomnia. Patients will take medication for eight weeks during the trial period and complete diary entries twice a day.

Qualified participants must:

• Be 18-85 years of age
• Have trouble falling or staying asleep
• Sleep less than six and a half hours per night on average
• Have at least one daytime symptom as a result of insomnia such as daytime sleepiness, fatigue or memory loss

Participants will receive:

Study medication, bloodwork, ECG's, physicals and compensation for time and travel.
