|
This is a 42 month long study to compare the safety and long term effects of three nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that are currently on the market in patients with either osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis who also have cardiovascular disease or risk factors for developing cardiovascular disease. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
• Be 18 years of age or older
•
Have either osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis and who also have cardiovascular disease or risk factors for developing cardiovascular disease
•
Be on a daily therapy with a pain medication at least six months prior to first visit
|
| Participants will receive: |
|
Physical exams, lab work, and study medication. Patients will receive compensation once qualified for the study.
