Medex Healthcare Research is conducting a clinical research study for DPN, painful diabetic neuropathy. Diabetic nerve damage frequently causes a severe burning pain. The pain is often accompanied by disagreeable sensations, such as prickling, tingling, burning or aching. These sensations are referred to as diabetic neuropathy. The study is testing the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for the treatment of painful diabetic neuropathy. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
Be 18-70 years of age
Have Type I or Type II diabetes
Have had pain for more than 6 months |
| Participants will receive: |

Study participants will receive study related care at no charge, which includes physical exams, lab services and study medication. Qualified participants may also receive compensation for their time and travel. |
