| Study summary: |
|
We are conducting a research study for men and women ages 18-75 who are suffering from Mild to Moderate Ulcerative Colitis (UC). Length of participation is approximately 10 weeks including 6 office visits, up to 2 colonoscopies included, upon completion you may be eligible to participate in a 12 month remission of UC research study. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
• Be 18-75 years of age
•
Be suffering from UC for at least 6 months
•
Complete a daily questionnaire
•
Refrain from taking certain medications during the study including antibiotics and other treatments for UC
•
Be able to attend study visits in am |
| Participants will receive: |
|
Investigational medications or placebo. All office visits, medical procedures, and investigational medication at no cost to participants. Patients will be compensated for time and travel. |
