Acurian, a company specializing in recruitment for clinical studies, is currently working with a pharmaceutical company to find adults eligible to participate in a clinical research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication compared to warfarin in the prevention of stroke or blood clots in people with atrial fibrillation or flutter. We would like to provide you with information on this study.

Acurian is looking for adults who have been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation or flutter, and have at least 1 risk factor for stroke such as age (at least 75 years old) or prior stroke, mini-stroke (TIA) or blood clots, heart failure, diabetes or high blood pressure.
