Gout Research Study – Gout is a sudden attack of pain and swelling that often occurs in your big toe, ankles, wrists or fingers. It typically lasts for about a week and then returns. If you suffer from gout symptoms, you may qualify to participate in a research study evaluating an investigational medication to determine its safety and effectiveness when used in combination in addition to another medication. Participants will receive the investigational medication or placebo (inactive drug), as well as be provided with a marketed gout medication. You may be eligible to enroll in this study if you are 18 to 80 years of age and have gout symptoms. Participants will receive study-related health care and required blood tests at no cost, as well as compensation for your time and travel if you qualify. This study is being conducted at our Dallas location at 635 and Webb Chapel. |
