Study summary:

The study is assessing how well a new medication combined with Metformin works as well as Glipizide and Metformin in lowering blood sugar.

Study could last up to 2 years, with 21-23 visits.

Qualified participants must:

• Be 18-80 years of age
• Have A1c 6.5-10.0%
• Not be on insulin
• Be using Metformin

Participants will receive:

Complete physical, full range of blood work, EKG, and medications all at no cost. Compensation $1,150.
