|
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of subcutaneous study drug in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Patients can be on diet and exercise alone, or treated with any other diabetes therapy; with the exception of TZD's or Insulin. However, Byetta is allowed. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
Have a HGBA1c between 7 and 10
Have a BMI between 25 and 40
Be between the ages of 20 and 75
Be willing to have a subcutaneous injection for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes
Not have a history of TB
Not currently be treated with anti-inflammatory agents
Appointments are weekly, so study visit days are not really flexible |
| Participants will receive: |

Up to $1,200 for time and travel, all study related medications, supplies, physical exams, lab testing, x-rays, etc. |
