Birth Control Research Study – This is an open label research study to evaluate an investigational combination birth control pill for women. All study participants receive the active investigational birth control pill at no cost for one year. This study is approximately 59 weeks, including a 4 week screening period, a one year treatment period and a 3 week follow up period. There are 10 visits which span over about 1 month apart, with compensation up to $750.00 for time and travel. Participants will be required to undergo a physical exam, including a pap smear.
Women 18 to 40 years of age and overall healthy
Not planning to become pregnant for the next 14 months
Are at risk of becoming pregnant and not requiring condoms to prevent STDs
