|
We are currently recruiting patients who have Type 2 Diabetes who are willing to participate in a research study in this area. The study is assessing whether a new medication that is given once a week via an injection will help treat people with Type 2 diabetes. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
Have Type 2 Diabetes
Be willing to inject yourself up to 2 times daily
Currently be taking up to 3 diabetes medications by mouth
Be willing to change from current diabetes medication to Metformin and Actos
|
| Participants will receive: |
|
Qualified participants will receive at no charge physical exams, routine labs, study related assessments, study medications, and supervision by a local, experienced study physician. |
