The Genetic Endometriosis Research Study is being conducted by Juneau Biosciences, a Utah-based company that is working to identify the genetic variations that predispose women to endometriosis. Juneau’s researchers are optimistic that the discoveries made through this study will lead to improved diagnostic and treatment options for women with endometriosis.
If you qualify to participate in this study, Juneau will request that you:
o Submit a DNA sample in the form of saliva – no blood draw is required
o Complete a questionnaire regarding family and health history
o Allow us to review your medical records pertaining only to endometriosis
If your endometriosis has been diagnosed, confirmed, or treated with surgery, you may qualify for this important study. Even women who no longer experience symptoms due to menopause or a hysterectomy are qualified to participate, provided that they were diagnosed previously.
