This is a 52-week study to compare the safety of the study medication administered orally once a day in patients with Type 2 Diabetes. |
| Qualified participants must: |

• Be 18 years of age or older
•
Be currently being treated with long acting insulin alone or in combination with Metformin and or Actos for at least 12 weeks |
| Participants will receive: |
