A 26-week study to compare the efficacy of a new investigational medication compared to glargine insulin (Lantus) in patients with type 2 diabetes. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
Be 18 years of age or older
Take Metformin alone or with other oral medications to control your diabetes
Have lived with Type 2 diabetes at least 6 months
Not use insulin

| Participants will receive: |
|
As a qualified participant, you will receive study-related care, study medication and diabetes supplies for up to 6 months at no cost and may be compensated for time and travel. |
