Study summary: With depression, life goes on.  You're just not part of it.
If you’re feeling sad or isolated, call about our clinical research study.
You may be able to be in a clinical research study if you suffer from major depression with symptoms that affect your work or daily activities. This study will see if a new investigational medication with a novel mechanism of action is safe and effective among people with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). The study medication will be compared to placebo (inactive medication).
You might be able to take part in this study if you: 
Are 18 to 64 years old
Have been suffering from symptoms of depression such as • sadness, isolation and hopelessness for at least 1 month 
Have NOT failed to respond to more than one antidepressant medication
Study participants will be in the study for approximately 11 to 15 weeks. There will be up to 9 visits to the study doctor. There is no cost to study participants for all visits to the study doctor, medical exams, or study medication.
