The studies duration is 42 months with 13 visits. The study is involving the drugs celecoxib (Celebrex), ibuprofen, (such as Motrin or Advil) and naproxen (such as Aleve). These medications have been approved by the FDA for the treatment of arthritis and pain. The study is looking at the long-term effect of these medications on individuals with cardiovascular disease or at risk. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
• Be 18 years of age or older
•
Have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis of the hands, hips or knees
•
Be at high risk for cardiovascular disease

| Participants will receive: |
|
Physical, labs, medications free of cost, and compensation up to $325.00 for time and travel. |
