Is your child experiencing symptoms of ADHD? Problems paying attention, hyperactivity or impulsivity?
This is a multi-center, open-label effectiveness trial to identify objective indicators of treatment response in ADHD subjects (versus healthy controls) using cognitive and brain functions, brain structure and genetic measures in subjects diagnosed with ADHD.

| Qualified participants must: |
|
Be 6-17 years of age
Provide informed consent from a parent and/or legally recognized guardian
Meet the DSM IV criteria for ADHD
Be a candidate for treatment with methylphenidate |
| Participants will receive: |
|
As part of the study, participants will be seen in the clinic at least twice: at pre-treatment and again at Week 6 post treatment initiation. Each visit will take approximately 3-4 hours. Volunteers will be compensated for participation in the study ($200+). We will also cover the cost of medication. |
