The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of celecoxib when compared to traditional NSAID drugs on cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and renal events in people with osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis with cardiovascular disease or at a high risk of developing cardiovascular disease. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
Be 18 years of age or older
Have a clinical diagnosis of Osteoarthritis or Rheumatoid Arthritis
Have Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) or at high risk for development of CAD (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, family history)

| Participants will receive: |

Medical care, study medication, compensation for time and travel. |
