Study summary:
Do you suffer from pain caused by Osteoarthritis of the knee? Volunteers are needed to participate in a clinical research study of a new investigational drug to see if it can help relieve pain from OA (Osteoarthritis). Osteoarthritis (OA) is a very slow progressing disease of the joints. The most commonly affected joint is the knee and OA of the knee is the leading cause of long-term disability associated with ageing. It is more prevalent in women. Qualified participants will receive study drug (or an inactive placebo) as well as lab tests and study-related medical exams. You may qualify if: You between the ages of 18 and 75 You are diagnosed with Osteoarthritis of the knee and willing to discontinue current pain treatment You are in relatively good health
