New research is being conducted to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational, oral type 2 diabetes medication, when used alone or in combination with metformin.

| Qualified participants must: |

• Be 18 to 80 years of age
•
Have a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes that is currently not controlled with diet and exercise alone

| Participants will receive: |

All study-related tests and evaluations and medications will be provided to participants at no cost. |
