|
If you have been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (or chronic renal insufficiency), you may qualify for a research study that investigates a preventative treatment strategy that could delay complications related to chronic kidney disease. The 3.5 month study includes: 7 short visits (1 – 1.5 hours); 2 longer visits (3-4 hours); blood draws, 24 hour urine collections, and echocardiogram; and taking an approved medication and/or modifying your diet. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
Be 18 years of age or older
Have stable chronic kidney disease/renal insufficiency
Not currently be taking phosphate binders
Will not be able to participate if you have problems with your liver or if you are pregnant

| Participants will receive: |
|
All study medication and supplies will be provided. You will receive compensation and parking vouchers for all completed study visits. |
