A randomized, multicenter, double-blind, parallel-group trial to assess the agalgesic eddicacy and safety of a new analgesic compared with placebo in subjects with painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy. |
| Qualified participants must: |

• Have controlled diabetes
•
Have pain that starts in their feet

| Participants will receive: |
|
FREE: physical exams, blood work, ECG, study medication, eye exams and $40.00 per visit. |
