A randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, dose-ranging, multicenter study to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of jnj270118966 in the treatment of patients with irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
• Be 18 to 65 years of age
•
Have to have a colonoscopy in the last 5 years
•
Be willing to be compliant with study procedures and complete a daily electronic diary throughout the entire study

| Participants will receive: |
|
Will receive study medication, study related physical exams, laboratories, ekg’s, and echocardiograms (at no cost), and compensations for time and travel. |
