| Study summary: |
|
We are currently looking for study participants for a type 2 diabetes study.
The research study will last approximately 18 months and will include 13 study visits to our San Ramon facility. We can schedule the visits around your availability. (Weekends are ok). |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
• Have type 2 diabetes mellitus
•
Be at least 18 years of age
•
Have been on the diabetic medicine for the last 3 months
•
Have had weight stay the same for the last 3 months or more
|
| Participants will receive: |
|
The investigational drug, blood glucose monitor and supplies, piolglitazone and metformin. All study related procedures and study visits will be provided at no charge to you or your insurance company. Financial compensation for time and travel may also be provided. |
