Study summary:
What if there was a medication to treat your cold, not just your cold symptoms?•Are you between 18 –70 years of age? •Have you been diagnosed with asthma for at least 2 years?•Do your asthma symptoms usually worsen with a cold?ABOUT THE STUDYYou may be eligible for a research study of an investigational drug for Human Rhinovirus infection (the cause of mostcolds) to see if it is safe, tolerable, and effective in reducing the severity and/or length of a cold in asthmatics.•Participants will be screened for eligibility prior to experiencing cold symptoms.•Eligible participants will be asked to return to the clinic within 24 hours of experiencing cold symptoms.•Participants entering the study will receive study medication for 6 days, and have 6 clinic visit over 28 days after the start of a cold.•Participants will be reimbursed for their time.
