If your baby seems to have tummy ache or is fussy or spits up frequently; it is possible he or she may have GERD. (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease)
GERD is when acid from the stomach keeps going back up into the esophagus causing discomfort.
If your baby has any of these symptoms, he or she may be able to participate in a clinical study for GERD medicine which has shown to work in adults and older children.
Typical symptoms of GERD are coughing or wheezing; burping more than most babies; frequently crying or fussing; poor feeding and blood in stools. |
