Clinic Introduction:
Meridien Research is comprised of four dedicated research centers with a proven track record of high enrollment in a variety of therapeutic areas including - central nervous system disorders, nutrition, women’s health and general internal medicine. Our offices are located in the densely populated counties of Pinellas and Hillsborough as well as fast growing Hernando and Manatee Counties. Demographic data shows that Meridien Research is uniquely situated to access research participants from ages 18-90, resulting in high enrollment for birth control, hypertension and Alzheimer’s disease trials, among others.

Meridien Research was founded in January 2000 by Cathy Collins RN, MSN and Mildred Farmer, MD who have been involved in clinical research since 1990. Meridien’s founding concept is to provide sponsors with the highest quality trial data in a timely fashion. Each center has a site director, principal investigator, sub-investigator, regulatory specialist, recruitment specialist, research assistants, clinical trial coordinators, and laboratory technician resulting in rapid study start up and accurate and efficient data collection. Principal Investigators see patients in the Meridien offices and are devoted 100% to the clinical trial process while at the site. They are experienced clinical investigators with expertise in endocrinology, internal medicine, neurology, family practice and geriatrics.
