West Coast Clinical Research is a physician owned, professionally managed multi-specialty clinical research center committed to providing high quality, efficient clinical research services to the Drug, Device and Biotechnology industries. West Coast Clinical Research was founded in 1993 under the vision and leadership of Dr. Eugene Dula.

West Coast Clinical Research is the leading clinical research center in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles and is committed to being a center of excellence. West Coast Clinical Research draws upon the large, diverse patient populations of the 1.4 million people in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

West Coast Clinical Research has been conducting clinical trials in multiple-specialities including Urology, Oncology, and Gynecology since 1993. West Coast Clinical Research has successfully completed over 148 industry sponsored drug and device clinical trials in phases I-IV.
 
Description of Clinic:
West Coast Clinical Research is a 1,500 square foot medical facility located in Tarzana, California and is convenient to expressways and public transportation. West Coast Clinical Research is approximately 20 minutes from the Burbank Airport. In addition, Providence Tarzana Medical Center is located within 500 hundred feet of West Coast Clinical Research.

West Coast Clinical Research completed a re-model in 2005 and was specifically designed to conduct clinical trials. The space is solely used for the purpose of seeing clinical research patients. West Coast Clinical Research is equipped with three exam rooms and a laboratory. Each clinical research coordinator has their own dedicated work space to accommodate study binders and to ensure sponsor confidentiality. There are also two dedicated monitoring rooms to provide monitors with the proper space and comfort to perform monitoring visits.

West Coast Clinical Research has access to full x-ray services, CT scans, MRI, cardiac stress testing, and bone densometer. The following equipment is on site:

As Medical Director and founder of West Coast Clinical Research, Dr. Eugene Dula has contributed to the advancement of new and emerging therapies in Urology. He has been the Principal Investigator of over 170 clinical trials for the treatment of urologic conditions. Many of the most common medication for conditions such as ED, BPH, incontinence and prostate cancer were initially studied in Dr. Dula’s facility. He serves as a medical consultant to the pharmaceutical industry, has authored multiple contributions to Urologic literature and has presented numerous papers to the Urologic community both nationally and abroad. Dr. Eugene Dula was raised in Los Angeles and pursued his education close to home, graduating with a BS degree with honors from UCLA. He received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and returned to Los Angeles to do his Surgical and Urology training at Kaiser Foundation Hospital, which he completed in 1990. Dr. Dula is board certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Dula has been in clinical practice in the San Fernando Valley since 1990 and is very active in the medical community. He served as the past Chairman of the Department of Urology and member of the Medical Executive Committee at Valley Presbyterian Hospital. He currently serves on the Ethical Review board at Tarzana Hospital. Dr. Dula is a member of various Urologic societies, including the American Urologic Association and is a Fellow of the American Coll
