I am a single site that wishes to increase recruitment for my studies, how do I post my studies for recruitment with ClinicalConnection.com's Targeted Participant Recruitment?

The process of posting studies is a simple two-step process! You will need to first setup a clinic profile. Once completed you will be able to post new studies to our database. When you have posted the studies they will be submitted for approval by our Recruitment Specialists and then active recruitment will begin! To learn more about our Patient Recruitment Services for investigator sites please visit The ClinicalConnection.com Advantage.

We got a great response from the first Email Outreach that ClinicalConnection.com sent to its members regarding my study, can we have the emails sent again?

We usually send the Email Outreach to appropriate members of ClinicalConnection.com within a week of the clinical trial being posted which results in a large wave of patient referrals being generated. If your clinical trial is listed for three months on ClinicalConnection.com you may contact us  to have the Email Outreach sent again to new members.

Should I seek IRB approval for the clinical trials that I will post at ClinicalConnection.com?

The FDA has mandated that as long as only general information regarding the study (study name, summary, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and clinic contact information) is posted online it does not need to be IRB-approved. If you choose to post risk and/or benefit information regarding participation in the clinical trial then IRB approval is necessary.

You may review the FDA's mandate on page 24 of the Department of Health and Human Services report entitled: Clinical Trial Web Sites: A Promising Tool to Foster Informed Consent

How can I submit the final study posting to my IRB for approval?

After creating an investigator/CRO/sponsor profile you will be able to enter the information regarding your study into a short online form. The study you submit will be available in its final format which allows you to print it and submit it to your IRB for approval. Upon approval by your IRB the study goes through a short (less than 24 hours) review by ClinicalConnection.com staff before becoming active for recruitment.

If I have a flyer or other advertisement that is IRB-approved can we use it at ClinicalConnection.com?

You are more than welcome to use an IRB-approved recruitment flyer as your posting at ClinicalConnection.com. For an example of this please view Contraceptives - Baltimore, MD (Study 744)

How will I receive Study Participant referrals from ClinicalConnection.com?

I just created a profile and posted studies, when will recruitment begin?

ClinicalConnection.com can almost always begin recruitment for your studies within a few hours of your studies being posted, and definitely within 1 business day. During this time, studies go through an approval process where they are screened for relevance and propriety and payment is obtained.
