Does anyone know if there are any good herbs for anxiety? I would love to know what herbs work, rather than having to resort to medications. Right now I am trying some "alternative solutions" - I meditate, keep a journal etc. but I would really like to know some herbal remedies Please suggest!

I have an appointment with a holistic doctor. I suffer from panic attacks and I work hard at fighting off depression. I will post the doctor's recommend. The Elephant Pharmacy (thre store sites Berkeley, Los Gatos and San Rafael all in California), try their herbalists- they offer free consultations

Hi,
Exercises are a great way to reduce anxiety. Exercise actually helps in building muscles. By taking a walk or doing a few sit ups one can get their mind off the thoughts and into something else, which will help when anxiety tries kicking in. |
