| Study summary: |
|
We are conducting a 20 week study (with the possibility of a + 1 year extension to the study) for patients who have been diagnoses with severe hypertension and are taking 3 or more blood pressure medications (with one of them being a diuretic) and your blood pressure is still not well controlled. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
• Be 35 to 80 years of age
•
Have diagnosis of hypertension
|
| Participants may receive: |
|
Qualified participants will receive study medication, study related physical exams, laboratories, ekg’s, and echocardiograms (at no cost), and compensations for time and travel. |
