Study Summary:

Diet, exercise and education are important in the management of type 2 diabetes, but many people also require drug therapy to manage their illness. Meridien Research is evaluating an investigational oral medication that may help manage blood glucose levels.This investigational oral tablet, when combined with diet and exercise, may help manage blood glucose levels in people with diabetes. Additionally, the knowledge gained from this study may help other people with diabetes in the future.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have A1c levels between 7-10%

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Eligible participants will receive study-related care, monitoring and medication or placebo at no cost. Compensation for time and travel may be available.
