Clinical Investigations of Texas (CIT) is a research site dedicated to providing the highest quality clinical research services to the pharmaceutical industry and CROs, while providing excellent care to our patients.

Research Site Description:

Clinical Investigations of Texas is located in Plano, Texas (Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex), and approximately 22 miles from DFW International Airport. CIT is fully equipped with multiple large exam rooms, ECG machine, centrifuge, double locked medication room, Xray capabilities nearby and refrigerator/freezer. We also have a spacious waiting room and a monitor room with convenient wireless internet access and telephone.

Additional Information:

Melanie O. Christina, M.D. is the Principal Investigator at Clinical Investigations of Texas. She is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Hospice & Palliative Medicine. She received her medical degree from Tulane University in 1990. At Tulane, she was a selected for membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. After medical school, she completed her residency at UT Southwestern Medical School. In November 2004, she was named “Best MD” by D Magazine. Dr. Christina has been the lead investigator with CIT since 2007 and is committed to innovative, ethical and progressive research.
