Summary:

A randomized, double blind, parallel group to assess the efficacy and safety of PT009 compared to PT005 on COPD exacerbations over a 52-week period with patients having moderate to very severe COPD.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 40 and 80 years of age
• Have been diagnosed with moderate to very severe COPD for at least 1 year
• Must have been hospitalized at least 1 time for their COPD in the last year or have seen a doctor at least twice for worsening symptoms of their COPD
• Have no current diagnosis of Asthma. Must smoke or have smoked in the past.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study COPD medication, study exams and labs, study breathing tests, X-rays and compensation at every visit.
