Summary:

A Study to Determine the Safety and the Efficacy of Fasinumab Compared to Placebo and Naproxen for Treatment of Adults With Pain From Osteoarthritis of the Knee or Hip


A patient must meet the following criteria to be eligible for inclusion in the study:

1.  Male and female patients, at least 18 years of age, at screening

2.  A clinical diagnosis of osteoarthritis

3.  Chronic moderate-to-severe knee and/or hip pain

4.  Willing to discontinue current pain medications and to adhere to study requirements for rescue treatments

5.  A history of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (e.g. Advil, Motrin, Ibuprofen) use for knee and/or hip pain due to osteoarthritis for at least the last 12 weeks

6.  Willing to undergo MRI scans and X-rays

7.  Willing to maintain current activity and exercise levels throughout the study

8.  Willing to complete all study-related questionnaires


Qualified Participants May Receive:
