The purpose of this clinical study is to see if an investigational medication is a safe and effective treatment option for people with obstructive sleep apnea. The study medication is a single pill that is taken nightly before bed. Trial-related procedures and study medication will be provided at no cost. Participants who qualify may be compensated up to $1,240 for time and travel.
Study Details:
- This study will compare an investigational medication to a placebo (a pill with no active medicine).
- Your participation in the study would last about 32 weeks (about 8 months) with 7 in-clinic visits.
- 3 of the 7 visits include a sleep study where you will be monitored overnight in a sleep clinic.
- Study procedures and tests will include blood sample collection, urinalysis, and sleep monitoring.
Eligibility Requirements:
· Be 18 years of age and older
· Have Obstructive Sleep Apnea
· Do not use positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy CPAP to treat their OSA Sleep Apnea
· BMI 18.5 kg/m2 to 40 kg/m2
