Clinical Trial 10033

Cleveland, OH 44130

Study Summary:

Do you feel sad or depressed? Do you feel like nothing matters? Depression is a disease that needs treatment, but sometimes one medication is not enough. Symptoms of depression include feeling sad most of the time, irritability, poor sleep, low energy, loss of interests, and feeling helpless, hopeless or worthless. Our Psychiatrists offer this study opportunity to patients with depression, currently taking an antidepressant (SSRI), who may benefit from adjunct treatment to further improve depression symptoms.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be currently taking a SSRI antidepressant for at least 6 weeks
• Be still experiencing depression symptoms
• Be willing to stay on the current SSRI antidepressant
• Not have any other psychiatric disorder as judged by the study doctor
• Be able to pass a drug screen

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Qualified participants receive study medication at no cost, and a voucher to pay for their current SSRI antidepressant. Participants also receive study related physical exams, blood work, ekg’s at no cost, and compensation for time and travel.
